In the Scriptures it says we should not hide our light under a bushel! So, don't be shy about sharing with us what has gone well for you in this past year, what you have found has not worked so well, and any ideas you may have for activities, crafts, or simply ways of teaching and student control in the classroom. We learn much more from each other than we ever can from books!
So, OK everyone, we need some new, 2014 contributions of what is going on in the church schools out there. Please share with us what you have been doing in this past church school year, and especially, share pictures ! Send ideas or photos to:
From All Saints in Raleigh, NC: Following the completion of the new church building and its consecration in 2011, the church school has been thrilled to be functioning in real, adequate-sized classrooms at last. This means of course, that we are able to put on the walls maps, pictures and students' work without having to take it down at the end of each session, because we share the space with another function of the parish. This means of course, that our program has become more vital, and more attractive to new students and their families!
